Studio Share Madison offers space for teaching and performance, practicing and more. We have flexible short- and long-term options for professional music instructors for ongoing lessons, recitals, group and master classes - as well as musicians looking for rehearsal or practice space.

Available studio spaces :

Studio 1

• Approximately 270 square feet

• Two professionally-maintained side-by-side acoustic pianos

• Pianos are tuned at least twice per year

• This studio has ample square footage for lessons, as well as plenty of space for kinesthetic learning, desk space to work on theory and compose, a white board, and more.

Studio 2

• Approximately 250 square feet

• One professionally-maintained acoustic piano (Kimball 5’6 grand.)

• Plenty of space for acoustic instrumentalists to take and offer lessons or practice.

Studio 3

• Approximately 150 square feet

• Two professionally-maintained side-by-side acoustic pianos

• This is a relatively intimate space for an engaging lesson.

Studio 4

• More than 700 square feet

• A 6- foot Yamaha C3 acoustic grand piano. Everyone who has played this piano finds it to be utterly responsive, superbly musical, and an all-around outstanding instrument.

• Digital pianos for group or duo piano lessons (additional Clavinova & Roland digital piano rental fee available; up to 4 5+octave digital keyboards also available for group piano and event usage - please ask for pricing.)

• Ample space for seating for 45+ with two different setup options (“Community” and “Recital”); as well as options for smaller audiences to enjoy a more intimate setting such as a master class or group class.

• This is an excellent rehearsal space for small ensembles (acoustic), instrumental, and modest or smaller sized vocal groups. Individuals musicians also enjoy practicing comfortably in Studio 4.

• This studio is “decorated for the seasons” for teachers interested in offering a “Halloween” or “Christmas/Holiday”-themed party or recital. Studio Share Madison offers special discounted rates for event-themed performances. Ask about our specials in late October and throughout the month of December.

Each space feels like a home - there is task intensive lighting, as well as the option to use general overhead lighting. Furnishings and decor are music themed.
